So you've decided that maybe your image could use a makeover. Maybe you've gone through a lifestyle change recently and realize that your outward style doesn't match what you want it to be. Now what? Where do you go? What do you do? Fortunately, you've come to the right place.
The first step in any makeover involves an Initial Image Analysis. During this time we cover the following areas:
Lifestyle Analysis - Where is your life right now and what types of clothing do you need in your life? Are you a professional needing more upscale business attire or are you a stay at home mom who doesn't want to LOOK like someone who's given up? Have you recently retired and now no longer need suits in your closet and want to replace them with golf wear? Whatever your needs, we discuss it with you and make a game plan.
Body Analysis - Understand the size, shape, and proportion of your body. What looks best on you and what should you avoid like the plague? No judgment... just style.
Hair Style - Is your hair in the most flattering style? Color?
Glasses - How current is your prescription and does the shape and color of the frames suit your face? When was the last time you got new glasses? If it's been more than a few years, it's time for a change. Not only is it better for your vision to have the right prescription, but having an outdated frame can't be your best look.
Color - Select the best colors for your skin tone.
Fit - Start with a proper fitting garment, regardless of what size is on the tag. After all, you're the only one looking at the tag. No one else cares. If it's the wrong size or fit, it won't ever look right. If you're petite, shop in the petite department. It's simple. Also, learn the value of having your clothing altered. Minor changes can have a major impact.
Design - Select garments best suited to your physical characteristics.
Accessories - Select the right accessory for the greatest impact. Learn how to wear items that will enhance your image and let go of things that no longer work for you.
After the Initial Image Analysis, it should be followed up with a closet consultation to go through what you have already, what works and what doesn't. After that, we can go shopping for pieces that go with what you have already (where possible) and that make you look fabulous!
